Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah is an Indian actress, playback performer and a musician who works predominantly in Tamil as well as Malayalam film languages. Her first appearance as an actor was in the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam as well as her Malayalam d but with Annayum Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah was born into the same Anglo-Indian family living in the Arakkonam region of in Tamil Nadu.Andrea's dad is an attorney working at the Madras High Court. Her younger sister is an assistant researcher from Belgium who lives in Leuven. Jeremiah was born in Chennai and went to National Public School and graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea was an eight-year-old classical pianist who was also extremely geeky. She joined The Jackson Five style troupe Young Stars aged 10. This group formed her musical and singing career. She appeared as an actor at her college in several shows organized through The Madras Players or EVAM. She was the President of the Student Senate at Women's Christian College. Andrea started performing as a young actress as a child actor in Girish Karnad Nagamandala. She was a part of Shiva in a Leo coffee ad in 2006. In 2006, she also appeared in the serial that was broadcast on Podhigai channel. She has performed all over India. She had a short character in the finale of Kanda Naal Mudhal (2005). Gautham Menon asked Andrea be the main character following her performance. she performed in the film Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu. Andrea plays Kalyani who is married and mother to a man who has an affair. Andrea was selected to play the character following the actors Simran Tabu and Tabu were invited to audition for the film. The movie was announced in the early part of 2010. The film was released in early 2010. as part of Venkat's Mankatha in 2011 which starred a number of actors. Annayum Rasoolum was Rajeev's romantic film that was released in 2013.
