Dua Lipa, aka Dua English singer and songwriter who was born on August 22 1995 in London United Kingdom. Following her stint as a model and songwriter, she decided to sign with Warner Bros Records and release her debut album "Dua Lipa" in 2017. The album reached the third spot in the U.K. Chart for Albums. There were eight songs released and included Be The Only I.D.G.A.F. and New Rules (UK number one). It also rose at number 6 within the United States. Lipa has been awarded Brit Awards for 2018 for category of British Female Artist and British Breakthrough Act and British. Dua Lipa was born the 22nd of August, 1995, in London in the UK to Kosovo Albanian Anesa Rexha, and Dukagjin Lipa. By way of her maternal grandmother Dua Lipa, she is Bosnian. She can trace her ancestry back to Peja the city of Kosovo. Two of Lipa's grandfathers were historians. The siblings of Lipa are Rina and Gjin. Lipa's musical influences came from her father who was the lead singer and guitarist of Kosovan the rock group Oda. The band was heavily influenced by their father's music which featured his music compositions and songs like David Bowie Bob Dylan Radiohead Stereophonics Stereophonics. Lipa began to sing at the age of five. At the age of nine, Lipa began to sing in the Sylvia Young Theater School. Lipa sang If I'm Not I Gotta You from Alicia Keys and Beautiful by Christina Aguilera on YouTube. The contract for her record to Warner Bros. Records was made in the year 2014. New Love was her debut single. New Love was released on August 15, 2015.
